So I took the Math 2 test today and the Math 1 test, my calculator stopped working during the Math 1 test.
I talked to the proctor and I am pretty sure he said that ONLY my math 1 test scores would be canceled.
But I want to be absolutely sure of this because when I was filling out a forum for the cancellation of my scores in no place did it ask me to specify which test was being canceled the only option I got was "Single SAT Subject Test (equipment failure)".

Should I call someone to make sure that only my Math 1 scores are being canceled? I am really worried because I can't take anymore subject tests, and I want to make sure I at least kept the Math 2 score.

I would call somebody. I’m not really familiar with the procedures.
Why cancel anything? Just take the crappy score and don’t report it. With score choice I don’t understand why anyone needs to cancel anymore.
Do you remember specifying the math on the form?

Wait, why would you take both Math 1 and Math 2? Just curious.

Unless the proctor indicated that Math 1 should be canceled, I would probably contact someone. Judging by the form, it doesn’t seem like it accommodates for students who take both math subject tests. And if you want to cancel one math score, how does CB know which one to cancel? I might be wrong, but from the looks of it, they might cancel both math scores (but not other subjects) unless indicated otherwise.

Yes definitely call somebody. The college board is not an omniscient and perfect entity. The fact that the form doesn’t accommodate both math takers is probably just an oversight. I don’t see why you can’t just cancel one.

I took both, because I was sure I could 800 on both, but my calculator stopped working, im pretty sure the batteries were leaking, as it happened before a while ago, of all times right. Though seriously I am really worried because I know I did well on the math 2 test, who should I call? Please any information you can offer is greatly appreciated.

Even you are sure you can get 800 in both, there is no point in tak8ng both. Most schools would consider them as one subject if they do require 2 subject test scores. You can contact the CB to cancel 5he score right after the test if you want to.

Not both scores, just the math 1 where my calculator malfunctioned, I made sure to notify the proctor and specified it was only on the math 1, I think he understood but i’m not totally sure. I am pretty worried because my past English scores were very low and this is like the last chance I have to take subject tests and show that I am knowledgeable in at least mathematics, so I emailed them about it, what else should I do?

Call them Monday morning? There are phone #s listed on the link you gave.

If you can’t wait and feel like you have to do something, how about using that fax# that you can send the score cancellation request to, and send instead a letter that outlines your situation and worries.

I don’t know if that will help, but it seems like a reasonable option so you can present a timeline that shows you took all actions possible:e-mailed, faxed, called as soon as phone lines open.
