I was just wondering what to expect when I start this survey. I took single variable calculous this year but am afraid that when I press the button to start I'll completely blank out, so it would help calm my nerves if I knew what was coming. also, if you feel that you are placed in the wrong math is there anyone to talk to get that changed?

I would really like to know this too. I know Uconn ECE is supposed to be easier than the AP test, so I can assume that this little survey should be relatively easy.

I wouldn’t know, I’m going to be taking it sometime before the end of the weekend probably, so I’ll let you know my thoughts after that. But red, if you already definitely have the 5 on AB, you don’t have to take it. It’s if you need to take first year calc and you haven’t recieved your scores yet (ie it isn’t 100% that you can skip)

Those sample questions are ridiculous. I took algebra about 3 years ago. I thought they would ask Calculus questions, instead of middle school questions. We barely had to factor anything in Calc this year, or simplify algebraic statements. The AP exam even specifically tells you that you do not need to simplify algebraic equations. I guess I actually have to study for 30 minutes now…

I took the exam and it was a lot easier than that, but yeah, it’s ALL algebra. Not a single derivative or integral on there. Most advanced is basic trig… which is still kind of annoying because like you said, we haven’t really done any of that in a while.
