Question 6 ****ed me up. The first part (non calculator) m/c seriously was a bit tough, the calculator part, for the ones you can use your calculator for straightforward computation, was not that bad, the other conceptual questions, all educated guesses...

I feel like committing suicide right now. My exam didn't even start at 8:00am, started at like 8:30am...

I am going to hang myself, I will see everyone in hell/heaven (for those who want to commit suicide as well) in early July.

Bye...

I thought the calculator m/c questions were much harder

@jupton:
yeah…that’s what I thought

^ Same. I though non-calculator was easy, but with calculator was much more difficult.

I had form Q. My friends had R and they said they felt the calculator part was easier. Maybe it’s somewhat different?

^let’s jsut say the non-calc part was somewhat doable, but the calc part, I am not even sure if my calculator should be used for some of them lol

MC was definitely a joke. I had around 30 minutes of free time after each section; but then again, my forte is math, so that probably explains why. I heard number 6 FRQ was a killer for many people, but I thought numbers 1-3 were harder.

@cheeseball:

I agree…i had Q too…the Calculator MC part is not that easy…

I used to think math was my forte… Then this year happened. My teacher is a first year Calculus teacher, though, so he taught us things like hyperbolic functions instead of things like cross-sections… Guess which one I needed more?

Not trying to make excuses, but I think if he had skipped that unit, we would have had more time for other topics. Ah, oh well.

Ahhh, that is unfortunate. My teacher was awesome, and prepped us really well for the exam.

Yeah mine too after spring break all we did was practice tests

i feel pretty good about that. in the past week we’ve done literatly probably 12 frq’s with crazy series stuff, so frq6 wasn’t even that hard.

before i did the test, i thought i was gonna ace it. AND… i was wrong… FRQ6 was a b****. it’s gonna curve right?

Yeah, I think generally around 62-67% gets you a 5.

mathfreak i agree w/ u 100%…my teacher was also amazingg

i felt that the non-calc was a lot easier. conceptual questions werent that bad. some of the questions with calc required a good amount of time for me, but most of them werent terribly bad. frq was fine until i saw number 6. i got like half of part A, and after that i just wrote down random stuff lol. but mc was easier than i thought it would be

If 62-67% gets a 5 then what gets a 4?

Yeah, during the year all of us always complained about how absolutely freaking impossible our calc class is. Then we all walked out of the AP with smiles on our faces…

MC was alright; I think I did way better than I did for AB exam last year since I am more experienced with Calculus. However, last question of FRQ was amazingly unexpected and difficult. I rather have last year’s number 6.

The OP’s first post isn’t that funny. I’m not trying to be one of those annoying peoples and what not, but why make a thread about killing yourself about a math test? It’s a big deal to some people.

On a more math related note, I don’t think that one frq will screw any of us over, esp. considering how everyone found it reaaaallly difficult. At least… I hope this is the case. :S
