I took the AP Calc AB exam during senior year in high school. I’m getting scores back in July (I think) and I’m not sure if I can use those scores because I’m starting college that same year. I’m pretty sure I got either a 4 or 5, so would I get out of Calc 1 in Rutgers if I send the scores even in July? And does this mean I technically can’t make my schedule until after I send the scores? Or do I make the assumption I got a 4 or 5 and make my schedule while omitting Calc I from it? I feel like classes would fill really quickly
You can still use the credit if you get a 4/5. And send your scores immediately to the school. But since you’re in Pharmacy, remember you can only use 8 AP credits and calc would take up 4 of those. And Pharmacy already makes your schedule for you, the only thing you do is choose an elective or two. When they receive the AP score, they’ll adjust the schedule for you if need be.
Ehh…if you’re going into pharm DO NOT use ur AP credit on calc unless you have no other choice. I had credit for calc 1 and 2 but used AP cred in bio instead. Ezzzz freshman year if you do this.
