So, I applied to NYU stern (only biz program i applied to) for transfer just because it's a great program. Problem is, my lowest grade is in calculus (74%) which is still a B at my school, McGill. My other grades are all >85%. P.s: I have an A in A-level Mathematics- basically a 5 on AP Calculus. Just wanted some input on this. Do you guys think I still have a decent chance at Stern?

Stern is really competitive. But mcgill is a good university, I think you stand a good shot.

I think your chance is fine.

they increase if you do not require aid (NYU is need-aware)

I hope the AdComs take the grade deflation into account. Basically, at mid-year, which is when I sent my grades, the class average was 61%, so I am way above average. On top of that, I have raised my grade to an 83% since then so if they asked me for final grades, it might help my chances. I’d love to be at Stern but my first choice is still G’town College! I hope it works out! :)

Thanks for your input! Good luck with your transfer apps!

hahah fair enough. Well I am sure they know about Mcgill is extremely prestigious (I almost considered attending, but could not afford the 0 financial aid)

Thats good that you did above the class average. Your grades seem good, if you expressed interest i think you would make a fine applicant. I hope it works out for you as well!

as a current student, I hope my opinion offers comfort!

Thanks. you as well sir!
