Calculus II over the summer?

I'm a student in calc right now, and as a result of scheduling conflict, I can't fit Calc 2 into my fall schedule. Is taking Calc 2 over the summer in 6 weeks a bad idea??

It really depends on what your other options are. Calc 2 isn’t THAT much more material than Calc 1, but depending on the school the class can be killer (The calc 2 equivalent at UC Berkeley is one of the most failed courses on campus). You’ll learn more techniques of integration, calculus of polar and some simple vector equations, sequences and series, etc. If you’re the type of person who gets things on the fly then you should be fine. However if you learn slowly then don’t bother. Having an A in AP Stats is much better than a C in Calc 2.

There are no APs at my school anyway, and I’ve exhausted our pathetic curriculum haha
