<p>I'm taking Math-1920 next semester, and the book list online says that the use the 12th edition of Thomas Calculus.</p>
<p>Does anyone know from experience if the 11th edition would suffice?</p>
<p>I think it’s particularly important to get the updated versions for classes like math, physics, and chem because problem numbers usually change with each edition.</p>
<p>that’s a good point. I was just at a garage sale today and picked up the 11th edition up for ten dollars. i figured it was worth a shot.</p>
<p>I would definitely purchase the new edition to be safe. Cornell Store/Kraftees wouldn’t buy back our books at the end of last semester, since Cornell is getting customized books for a bunch of intro classes, so a lot of changes are expected.</p>
