Does anyone know where to find a 2009-2010 academic calendar? I found one that goes through August 2009 on the AFA website, but havn’t been able to find one that goes beyond that.

That's the only one I've seen.

That is the most current one. It was approved 2 May 08, so don't expect an update for a couple more months.

the schedule for '09'-'10 has been released, but i don't know where. apparently certain squadrons recieved it and forwarded it home to parents (what the 2010 parents site said) but i have not seen it yet.

on that note though, the schedule was officially changed last week. the class of 2010 will graduate May 26, 2010, one week earlier than previously announced

Will the incoming president be the speaker at the graduation? If so, I am betting my whole farm that he doesn't shake hands with ALL the cadets, as Pres. Bush did.

he is scheduled to speak this year at the graduation of the Naval Academy. VP Joe Biden will be the speaker for USAFA class of '09 graduation

interesting note: Sen. McCain's son graduates USNA this year, so Sen McCain should be in attendence at Obama's graduation address

Fencersmom the Presdent attends the graduation every 4 years if the schedule remains the same he will attend 2012's graduation...sorry, I think what President Bush did was great, but don't expect anything similar anytime soon. I believe President Obama will graciously carry out the honor and take full advantage of the photo op. You really cannot get between him and a camera lately. We will have the next four years to see how things go.

Gosh, that makes him so much worse of a president!

ok, before this gets out of hand, there is no place on this board for discussing which President we think is better or will be, especially concerning things as petty as shaking hands. Pres. Bush has been our Commander in Chief for 8 years (or however long we've been in) and Pres.-elect Obama will be for at least the next 4 years.

as for the actual topic of this thread, if anyone gets ahold of the calender, please let us know

Thanks for the update, I'll keep looking.

still a little off topic- but nice conflict avoidance eagle! I've been dealing with stuff like that recently and definitely will tomorrow, so I enjoy having this forum as neutral ground where it doesn't matter too much.
