I was reading about AB 540, my situation is I moved to CA since March 17 and enrolled in school a week after. I have granted asylum for more than one year. I have everything legal with documentation, we have applied for green card and it should arrive before I graduate. Also I had a problem while I wanted to attend community college in summer, they considered me as non California resident I fought hard, they changed everything and I am considered now as a California resident in the community college and I took a class in the winter. My question is will UC ( UCSB especially ) consider me out of state and pay more tuition or like normal students. What is your opinion please I need your help ?
