If your child is planning on attending this school, please make sure they understand there is NO drinking AT ALL in campus housing. My son violated this rule and was suspended for two semesters (his senior year). As you can imagine, this was a financial and emotional burden. We were saddened at how CBU treated him and are disappointed they were unwilling to work out any other options to rectify his transgression. We would have accepted any punishment but they showed no mercy or grace. Because he felt uncomfortable and unwanted if he returned, he transferred to another university. Please be aware if you are considering a Christian college that your child needs to adhere to the rules of the university. I just want other parents to learn from our situation and have an honest discussion with your child before committing.
