California kids...

A thread where CCers hate each other because of their geographical residences. This is just stupid.

what is the purpose of this thread? this is idiotic.
and when you want to make rude generalizations please pick the correct area to offend, there is a distinct difference between California and the northwest so don’t say west coast (technically even alaska is the west coast) and there is also a difference between southern california and northern california so don’t say California, and there is a difference between each individual so why doesn’t everyone just shut the f up, don’t feed choklitrain’s need to create strife, we are all just enabling him and people like him.

hatersunite: does anything look bad on “hot chicks”?

hatersunite:I hope you aren’t really from Baltimore. Now there’s a real s**t hole. Sorry.

i live near the mountains.

near Mt. High.

it gets cold here. during the winter (and esp. January), we were regularly at highs 45 Fahrenheit, lows dipping below 30.

guess what? i live in CA.

CA isn’t just warm weather, ya know.

http://www.visitrenotahoe.com/images/ski.boarderdownhill.jpg

True, very few things look bad on hot chicks.

Baltimore looks like New York in comparison to Buffalo and Jacksonville. Real talk. Actually, that isn’t even really a far comparison since it’s a stretch to even consider Buffalo and Jacksonville cities. More like large towns.

^ You could also say that very few things on hot chicks look good.

Baltimoron: LOL We do suck. It’s a different world, a terrible one at that, once you come down here in the South. Some people are still living in the 1960s.

^^HAHAHA as disgusting as that is it is pretty funny.

lol @hatersunite, what does that say about Bangor?

^^Yes, I know, hardly the classiest joke ever, but I just felt it was too good an opportunity to miss. Hopefully I won’t banned for it. :)

god I hate East Coasters who just talk crap about West Coasters, when it’s obvious that California > East Coast.

Sorry even though I live in the east coast, I’d want to go to cali. Sooo many hot chicks :)

^^thats probably one of the best posts on CC lol. Made me laugh so hard!

then have fun in Princeton, New Jersey for four years…

In my opinion as a west coaster… It feels like there is a lack of culture… And Los Angeles feels so divided. I don’t like the L.A. area.

I feel some sort of Nostalgia whenever I see a picture of New York even though I’ve never been to New York.

Dear Choklitrain,

I find you to be one of the many flaws within society. Learn to have tolerance. Whether or not you feel Californians deserve a spot at ivy-leagues, stop being a pretentious arrogant *******. The ivy-leagues pride themselves on diversity. This means having students from all walks of life. If you would prefer to go to a school of all “east-coasters” maybe try a local state school with very low out-of-state attendance. I mean by your rationale Californians should the stay the hell out of east-coast schools and we all know that won’t ever happen, so how bout you just go to a local state school and problem solved. But wait… you need a school with a name. You are as shallow as they come. I am happy to say I was born and raised in California because unlike you I have learn to love diversity and be tolerant of all people. By all means all “east-coasters” aren’t like you, but I’m sure your environment has a lot to do with your lack of tolerance. I am not saying all Californians are good people, but to stereotype an entire state shows your ignorance. If only University of Pennsylvania could see your true character. I wish in your interview you talked about how all the Californians should quit being accepted to University of Pennsylvania. I mean while your at it you should of just told them to forget about the poor people and the blacks, how bout the mexicans too?

Congrats on getting into University of Pennsylvania, but you will make it no where in life with your perspective on the world. The world isn’t the same as it was when your dad was going to school. We have a black president for christ-sake. Ignorant egotistical people like you are the MINORITY now. One day you will realize, you could just as easily be on the opposite side of the spectrum you are criticizing.

I find it very hard to believe
Maybe you should read University of Pennsylvania mission statement, specifically “Penn will: Encourage, sustain, and reward its faculty; nurture, inspire, and challenge its students; and support and value its staff; Strengthen and appreciate the diversity of its communities; Support free expression, reasoned discourse, and diversity in ideas; Pursue positive connections to the city, state, and region and a mission of service to its neighbors in West Philadelphia;”

^
What he said.

Ahaha. Choklitrain is such an intolerant snob and bigot! What’s funny is he goes around calling people like me those same pejorative.

What a jackass.

Choklitrain: are you calling us California kids out?
Because I’d be ready to bring out my whooping stick and beat your intolerant a$$.

hehhe.
I’m just kidding, but I do think you’ve narrowly stereotyping ALL California students based on a select few that you’ve met. Not all East Coast students are refined and classy; Not all west-coast students are beach-bleached and unmannerly. I can assure you that I’m not anything like that California student that you described.

Open your eyes and be more tolerant.
gawsh.

The difference is that I knew this thread was provocative when I made it, and I enjoyed reading the responses it brought forth. Whereas you end many of your posts by calling someone a “dumbass” or “jackass,” I never feel the need. I don’t even have anything against the Californians at Penn, as they’re among the smartest/coolest people there(except for the pong guy, he’s a tool, lol).
