You think people are into Crimson here?

Raspberry,

Lots of visits to Boston. Harvard is great, in small doses!

wow ras, you got smart friends.

mine are georgetown/ucirvine/usc/possibly amherst/fresno state/stan state/pepperdine/penn/penn/penn/csu channel islands/University of the Pacific/Cal

4/5 of my friends are going to UGA, Emory University, and GA Tech, because of the HOPE Scholarship and the loads of cash they get for going to in-state schools. The others are going to LACs like moi.

State schools...shudder

UC's/LMU/USC/Cal Poly...I live in California and pretty much my entire school goes to one of those 5 schools

i never knew you were friends with the harvard ppl raspberry! unless those are your friends from back home

Vandy and GaTech and Alabama

upenn/yale/MIT/possibly cornell/possibly rice/ASU

state school/state school/possibly Princeton (state school more likely)/possibly Boston College/Dartmouth if accepted, state school if not/state school.... see a trend here? Az education system- the best and the brightest go to the nearest state u.... sigh (and all of us who are thinking about out of state are the rare transplants who moved here in the last five years from better school systems... Sorry guys... I should stop complaining.)

Northwestern, Penn, Yale, Columbia, Florida.

UC's, Cal State Northridge, Cal State domingez hills, cal state L.A.

All of the California schools......

Astarblaze, I feel you. Only the very top students leave the state, and most of them are staying contiguous.

my friends from school: penn, cornell (hotel school!), stanford, barnard, penn, wellesley, wesleyan, middlebury, middlebury.
from home/sailing: usf, usf, hobart, tufts, indiana, uci...

UT (Tennessee), South Carolina, UNC-CH, UVA, WashU, Duke, Centre College, Kentucky, Cornell, Florida, Vandy, plus a few Princeton and Harvard hopers

The majority (somewhere around 90%) of my high school goes to the local state school. But my closest friends are all spreading out around the country...WashU, Harvard, Brown, Princeton, Notre Dame...I guess we'll all know after April 1.

Most of my firends are staying local at CSUN, UCI, UCSB, USC, LMU, CSULB, UCR, and UCSD, but a couple of my friends are waiting to see if they'll get in to MIT, Columbia, Wash U, Oberlin, Harvard, and Johns Hopkins

One Yale, one Harvard.... the rest are holding out for April Fool's Day decisions! (Which is only like the cruelest notification date ever.) They're waiting on the Ivies, UVa, and a few other schools.

Justice- just two. The other people are from summer camp/home
