<p>I was wondering if there were any private colleges in California that DID NOT require letter's of recommendations.</p>
<p>Yes - UOP doesn’t. I am sure there are many others.</p>
<p>I’m afraid to ask why you can’t get a recommendation…</p>
<p>USC apparently doesn’t (at least it didn’t force me to assign recommenders on Common App).</p>
<p>Quidditchcat-- that is incorrect. According to USC’s website:</p>
<p>“All first-year applicants should submit one Counselor/Teacher Report and letter of recommendation. You may submit additional forms and letters; however, the number of recommendations received does not factor into our decision-making process.”</p>
