hey guys,
what exactly are valedictorians and saludictorians?

also, how exactly does the class rank work? by SAT scores?GPA?

thanks,
rohin

I wouldnt call you a noob for asking the questions but i will call you a noob (whatever that is ) for not googling this...below are the very first searches that came up...NOOB!

Valedictorian is an academic title typically conferred upon the highest ranked student within the graduating class of an educational institution

Salutatorian: the second highest ranking graduate

thanks ixjuntitxi

i just googled it, and to anyone else that wants to know, check this video.
What is a "valedictorian"? (Education: High School )

To answer your other question, class rank is usually determined by GPA, though whether that's weighted or not, I couldn't tell you

Usually determined by class rank, but more traditionally, they are the student speech givers at graduation. My school technically doesn't have these two titles since the speakers are chosen separately, but we still use these terms haha.
