If you haven't seen this video, you really need to. It basiclly sums up the fighting spirit, loyalty, and resolve of the American Soldier, the 19 or 20 year old kid in harms way. You can find it on the Army's website, www.army.mil

Click on "Audio/Video.'' The thumbnail for the movie will be under "Featured Media." Watching it just makes me more convicted to do everything in my power to become the best combat leader I can, because these young enlisted guys deserve nothing less then the best from their officers. Hooah anyone?

Hooah!

You notice that most of the soldiers they showed were 101st airborne, or (what looked like) 10th Mtn? WP sends officers to both, I think.

Hooah.

singing a jodie
Infantry, infantry all the way!

(lol sorry I had to reach 10 characters)

edit
Yeah, the doctors/nurses were 10th mountain (the patch with the crossed swords) In the credits, they listed a 75th Ranger as appearing. I must've missed him.

tall_ruski,

All officers (OCS, ROTC, or USMA) have some say in what unit they will be stationed with. There are ten active divisions, and you get to select your post based on class rank and the needs of the Army. If you are the #1 ranked cadet for you branch, you get first pick. The lower your class rank is, the fewer options you have during "Post" night. However, you can agree to serve three more years on active duty in exchange for either your first pick of branch or post.
