okay,...i am so late in the post...but still
indian, born in UP,...moved from up to singapore to up to delhi till 12....finally came singapore...since then here...now hopin for miracle to get in US :)

i think, sari is a very sophisticated and s exy garment...she(aish) is hot and can pull it off really well...when standin wif others wearin non traditional dresses, she stands out and her sophistication pulls her off... ;)

okay so i'm late to the desi thread...whatever. i'm not a huge fan of aish (i'm all about sushmita and kajol - bengali pride!) but i will admit that she looks gorgeous in sari. although everybody says anyone can pull off a sari, i disagree...unless it's worn properly, it can make you look fat. that being said, i love indian clothes and look for any opportunity to whore out my churidar kurtas, etc. and wear them anywhere. lol.

premanjali - i just visited kolkata a month ago. every time i go, i love it more. seriously. my parents were thinking of buying a flat in gariahat but backed out at the last minute...i am ****ed off :D

oh and URAD DAL ALL THE WAY. and dahi mach.

I am only half (no make that three quarters) Bong and OOL who has lived in Andhra Pradesh half her life is less Bong than me even though she is genetically 100% Bong...

Bong hmmmm...maybe I'd better stick to Bengali, mods may think I'm talking about something else ;)

ROFL i was going to put "bong pride!" too, but i rethought that decision. and yes, for your information, adides, we are indeed taking over. you know you can't resist us! i swear, we're like the weirdest indians of all time, what with the fish that probably swim through our veins (we love them so very much...mmm...fish...) and our need for poetry and random seminars on tagore. we need help. honestly, i have no idea why bollywood loves us so much.
