Hello my fellow CC-ers. Metallika here, with some (hopefully) exciting news for all of you.

So, my dear friend big dreamer and I began medical clubs at our individual schools earlier this year. As one of our projects, we were hoping to create a type of "science magazine" to appeal to younger scientist, you know?

We do wish to take this project on a broader level (the medical club idea, too, for any of you who may be interested in that), and hopefully even publish this magazine/journal online, eventually.

We are welcoming any CCers who may be interested in providing their writing skills, funny scientific anecdotes, or other science experiences to our journal. Everybody who contributes will be credited, of course.

Also, if you participated in any prominent science program (summer, internship, or otherwise), won a well-known award (any Intel STS people here?), or just scored or placed awesomely on one of those tricky science competitions (Ah, dear old USABO. Where would we be without you?), we'd be ecstatic to interview you guys. This would include asking a little bit about yourself, how you got into science, what motivated you to go so far, etc.

Heck, if you haven't done any of the above (like the other 99% of us), but have had some interesting life experiences because of science, join us!

We are welcoming any and all ideas/comments/concerns. However, I must ask for the negative comments to be kept to a minimum. Help, don't hurt, kay peeps?
