Calling the Office of Admissions to Update App

When you log on to review your application it says you can't change it from there anymore and if you need to update/change any information you need to call the Office of Admissions.

In my case I forgot to include one of my extracurriculars that I did my freshmen year. If I call the Office of Admissions and tell them to update it, will that negatively affect my chances of getting into UF because of me forgetting to put it on my application?

This may be a really dumb question but this is the #1 college that I'm hoping to get into so I'm being extra careful.

Changes/updates to your application are things like - I was in AP psych and now I’m changing to honors psych or the class I thought I was going to take in the spring now is not being offered so I am doing this instead. Or I check no to conduct and now have an incident I need to report.

Calling because you realized you should have put more information on the resume section isn’t allowed.

^I don’t know if it ISN’T allowed…it can’t hurt to call anonymously and ask, then call as yourself normally and update it…

I don’t see why it would hurt to do that. BUT at the same time, I’d understand why it wouldn’t be allowed because admissions may think you maxed out the box spaces and with 30,000 apps they probably don’t wanna update sucha miniscule thing I suppose. That is PURE speculation by the way, I have no idea if that’s true or not. Call anonymously, check it out, then call yourself if it’s all good.
