DD sent her application in to UF last week. Her senior class schedule is listed on the application. Yesterday, her private school added a new science class to their fall list and DD elected to change her courseload to accomodate this class. She is basically changing an elective regular level social science to an honors level science. Does she need to notify UF of this change? How should she do this, email ok or should she call?

Although she sent in her application, I believe she still has the option of editing it. If not, I think either way should do. I would call, email can be a little slow sometimes. But check out if she can still edit her app.

It says this on the website:
"If you have already submitted an application you cannot return to it. You must contact the Office of Admissions at 352-392-1365 to modify the application."

So, I guess she should call them.

Yea, I thought there was an edit button, guess not. But that's clear, she has to call.

She called, they want her to send a note from the guidance counselor with her transcript (when the school sends them in August). Way to make things more complicated. She was just swapping out a social psychology elective for a newly added (to her school's curriculum) honors level anatomy and physiology class.

Yea, everything has to be official and verified.

I don't mean to be rude seiclan, but it seems like you answered your own question in your own quotation of the website? It says call.

I could be an exception to the rule, but I changed like 2 or 3 courses last year, never notified UF and had no problem.
