So I recently received a letter from Berkeley saying that I was chosen as a candidate for the Regents & Chancellors Scholarship. I already scheduled the interview, and I wanted to do the Overnight Host Program.

So in order to participate in the Overnight Stay Program, UCB said I need to send in a Waiver of Liability form by mail and they need to receive it before I go to the campus to do the overnight program.

Here's my problem.

At the bottom of the waiver letter/form, it asks to print my name, sign and date it, but it also asks for the CalNet ID/Student ID # (8 digits numerical). The thing is, I checked all over the UCB website and it says that I will receive the student ID number when I get my admission letter (which is 3/26... 3 weeks AFTER the Regents scholarship interview). I need to mail in the waiver of liability form ASAP but I don't know what to do because I don't know what to put for the CalNet ID.

Does anybody have the same problem? Can anybody help me out?

"Your Application ID is a 7-digit number that uniquely identifies you within the UC applicant system… there are three ways for you to find your Application ID:

Your University of California (also known as PATHWAYS) receipt; if you submitted your application via the University of California website, you should have seen a screen displaying this information.
On the upper right-hand side of the UC aknowledgement letter you received in the mail

Oh. I swear the waiver of liability form I got in the mail says CalNet ID/SID # on the space where Application ID # was in the link you sent me.

Oh well, you’re probably right. I’m just going to write down the app ID and they’ll figure it out I hope.
