If I want to do Biology at Cornell, is CALS or CAS easier to get into?

and yeah, i know i should focus on the non-science focus of each to decided, but i've got pretty diverse interests and could go either way.

also, does anybody know what percentage CALS reserves for NY residents? because i'm definitely not from NY.

They're pretty much the same. Look at the other majors in the college and the required classes for each major. See which one you would rather "put up with" and apply to that school. The two schools are very similar in acceptance rate and selectivity. Just do a little research online and when something jumps out at you, you will find your answer.
