Hi,

I'm a NYC resident. If accepted, would I pay the same tuition as for a state college( or a similarly low price) since the campus is part of the state university system? My income is rather low so I wonder also if I apply ED will I still get the same good fin. aid as from a state university.

Thanks

Yeah the tuition is much less for CALS, CHE, and School of ILR. Cornell can't afford to shaft you on FA if you apply ED, because even though you're bound to attend, you couldn't afford it for 4 years, so you'd probably just drop out, thus lowering their retention rate, and therefore rankings, etc., and all kinds of bad stuff. So, don't worry abobut getting an unreaonably small financial aid package if you apply ED.

Although-- if your income is quite low (like mine), Cornell meets all demonstrated need anyway. I'm in CAS, paying far less than tuition would cost at any state school. Don't be intimidated by how much you think it will cost.
