CALS (college of agriculture and life sciences) allows the applicant to put a first and second choice for the program, if desired. I plan to apply ED so if I don't make my first choice, i would have to go into my second choice. However, there is only one program that interests me. My question is, will it look bad if I decide not to put a second choice? Has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks ahead of time!

Put a second choice down for sure. You can usually change programs once admitted assuming you progress well in your coursework.
