Does anyone know how long it is going to be?

I’m going! In fact, I’m at LAX right now about to catch a flight to the bay. What’s your major solidblu?

It’s basically an all day thing.

(July 1st is where it’s at)

Yes your boy mortimer will be in the building (my real name’s not mortimer) polisci major! They want us to bring our trandscripts and stuff, should we bring a backpack paper and pens or will they provide that for us, i’m excited

July 1st represent!

@mortimer
Probably should come prepared just in case. Also good idea to know the courses u want and ccn # as well as couple back ups in case classes fill up.
Anything else we are supposed to bring besides transcripts?

definitely bring a backpack. they give u pens and paper…

if you did your research beforehand, you’ll probably know most of the stuff anyways so just go do what you have to do and only show up for the required stuff.

do we need to bring transcripts? I didn’t know that

For poli sci you could bring official or unofficial transcripts.

oh so is that poli sic specific? : |
I see nothing about transcripts, only the schedule from online orientation

i’m idiot, saw it in the confirmation mail

Why is July 1st the most vocal CalSO group? Haha.

Do you think we could leave for a couple hours? If so, when would be the best time to do so? I want to go check out my apartment…

Seeherfly- I attended the June 1st CalSO and YES, there will be time for you to leave campus for a bit. There is a time on the schedule that they call ‘Free Time’ and you can use this to do whatever you deem necessary.

Just got back from CalSO.
It was great!
I actually stayed 'till the very end and went to dinner but I skipped a few activities in between because I was feeling sick.

Some helpful tips if you’re going to CalSO

Come prepared: ID #, photo ID, CALNET ID and passphrase. If you need to turn in any forms/paperwork, you’ll get some free time during CalSO to run errands.

Make the best out of CalSO! Meet new people, ask questions, and have fun!

go make your cal 1 id during your free time or break
it will help you alot
