So I'm in Berkeley right now (weird weather...) and my orientation is tomorrow. I had a few questions about the check-in. What time do people usually show up, are the students' parents with them (or are the students there alone? will I look dumb with my parents with me?), and where do they send you to wait until everyone has checked in? What do you need to do in order to check in (do you have to show them a confirmation email, photo ID?)

Thanks! :D About to leave the hotel to check out the campus

parents got separated from students anyway as their programs are different, so that won’t be an issue i forgot the exact procedures, but the times should be listed on the calSO website + they give you a minute by minute schedule of everything you’re going to be doing and where you should be once you check in most of the time, you can just follow the huge crowd and you’ll be fine, i just tagged onto one or two people in my counselor group and followed them around basically haha if you get separated from your counselor, just go to the designated place you should be at that time as per your schedule good luck!

Cool Yeah, I just got back from CalSO and it was friggin awesome!
