<p>Would you choose Caltech or MIT?</p>
<p>Caltech its in LA</p>
<p>It’s a hard choice:</p>
<p>Caltech has sun, community, great research environment, nerdier, Honor Code</p>
<p>MIT is more focused on life after school, tunnel system, larger, more diverse, Boston</p>
<p>it’s easy… Caltech :)</p>
<p>MIT don’t have their president cooking for their undergrads twice a term. </p>
<p>If you like huge campus, cold winter, close to ivy go MIT.</p>
<p>If you like small campus, knowing everyone in your year, meet the world’s smartest yet most wonderful people (well… they are geeky… have to admit…), go caltech.</p>
<p>Sidelined a bit :
If you are a science/math freak, want to study physics theory, and wanna avoid social-sci/liberal art classes, Cal-Tech or MIT?</p>

<p>As has been said many times before… you should really visit both schools. There have been a bunch of other threads written about this that you should probably look through.</p>
