How do you calculate GPA?

As-4, Bs-3, Cs 2, Ds 1, Fs 0 (dont know what is the scale though, in my school a 100-93 is A, but other schools its 100-90)

How could there be a one point difference between an A- and a B+. Thats not the right way to do it. Each grade has a certain amout of points it gets. At my school its
A-4
A- - 3.8
B+-3.5
B-3
B- - 2.8

what most colleges use:

So is a B worth a 2.4 or a 3.5?

for high school or college?

For my highschool rades that the college will use. I want to convert my GPA right now. But the grades arell worth different numbers.

For my High School:

A = 4.0
A- = 3.7
B+ = 3.3
B = 3.0
B- = 2.7
C+ = 2.3
C = 2.0
C- = 1.7
D+ = 1.3
D = 1.0
D- = .7
F = 0

mine is:
90-100: A = 4.0
80-89: B = 3.0
70-79: C = 2.0
60-69: D = 1.0
<60: F = 0
