Camden Campus - Housing OMG!!

Got my housing assignment - finally! Now my anxiety is worse than it was before!!!! There are 9 people in my "suite". 3 people to each room, and 1 bathroom!! How is that going to work? How can they cram 9 people in a suite that was made for 6 - which I thought was too many!

Has anybody experienced this and how did you do it? I can't believe they actually expect 9 people to live in one room. The "lounge" in the suite isn't even big enough to hold 9 people.

Any suggestions? My dad was even looking at the price of apartments in the area - but that's out of the question. I don't have the option of communting - I'm out of state!! Wow! I love this school, and unlike many it was my first choice. Now, I'm thinking I might have made the wrong choice. I'm already paying $10k more than in state, and now 9 people in a room - my dad is flipping!!!

Im enrolled in New Brunswick campus, but it's pretty much the same here.
What i heard is that Rutgers accepted too many people this year, so there isn't enough room for all the students.

As a result, Some NB students have to live in dorm lounges- can you believe it? They aren't even rooms! Rutgers would probably put furnitures and stuff but still many students are furious... you are not alone.

On the bright side, I also heard that Rutgers is paying 15 dollars a day to those who are living in the lounge. so I think you should contact the school to see if they are compensating for this horrible situation in any way.

Good luck..!
