<p>hi, im a new immigrant, i went to elementay skool in europe, middle school in kentucky, and my freshman and sophmore year in china.( i know, its crazy) and now im in california, but since i was new, they wouldnt test me individually for advanced placement...so now i have no ap classes at all for junior year, i heard this is the most important year!! most ppl have lke 4 ap classes...im planning on taking 3 or 4 ap classes next year but ppl say it wont matter as much...will this affect how colleges assess me??</p>

and i reli want to go to some reli good colleges...</p>
<p>so far for the 2 semesters i was here i have a GPA of 3.83 and Sat 2050 but im looking to retake...</p>
<p>If your HS has a restrictive policy about AP courses, stop worrying about how not being able to take AP classes will affect you. This is completely out of your control. Make certain that your guidance counselor includes a note about this in his/her letters when you apply to college. The admissions offices are fully aware that this kind of stuff goes on, and they know that many excellent students are shut out of AP courses. Trust them to be able to properly interpret your applications.</p>
