How was the campus day today? Were a lot of people there?

The campus day was pretty cool, and informative.
Overall, a positive experience.

There were about 1000 people there.
Im seriously considering Wake now, because I was impressed.

I really enjoyed Campus Day. You meet at Wait Chapel and they welcome you and then have some seniors talk about their experiences there and also some teachers. Then there are several things you can do. They have a majors fair where you ask current students about their majors which you may be interested in. They have an activities fair so you can see the kind of groups that are on campus. You can take a trolly tour of the campus. You can take a tour of one of the freshman dorms. They also have academic seminars in groups of related topics. I went to the antropology, psychology, and sociology one and then the english, education, and communication one. They are pretty informative. Then they also have other seminars about the pre med track, pre law, volunteering, ect. At the end you meet back at Wait Chapel and they talk about dorm life and orientation.
I would recommend going especially if you are undecided. I was accepted ED and went anyways just to get a better feel for the school.

Do you feel that the Campus Day is worthwhile if you’ve visited the campus three times already? Do you gain any further information?

Champ- we learned some things from the seminars about different majors. Like, if you are pre-law, law schools don’t care what your major is, they just want a high GPA, from freshman year. And if you are in the business school, don’t expect to earn a high GPA. But most of it was stuff you have already heard, and a few students talking about campus life. Iif you have questions they are easily answered with a phone call. It was really just a chance to give the school one last look-over before committing.
