Campus feel

I was lucky enough to get into BC EA, but I have not been able to visit Boston yet and I wanted to know a little about the campus and surrounding area before I visit.

I like schools that feel like there own little city like Georgetown, USC, or University of Arizona. I do not like school that have a city feel like NYU and University of Penn.

What is Boston Colleges campus like? What is the surrounding area like?

There’s definitely stuff within walking distance… restaurants, movies and a few other things if I remember correctly… But Boston is some distance away. But yeah, you won’t be stuck on campus.

I LOVED BC because they have the total campus feel, while being no more that a 20 minute drive from Boston. It’s a gorgeous campus and there are buses and trains you can take into the city.

It’s not like NYU which has no campus and is right in the middle of lower Manhattan.

BC is quite a few miles out of Boston. It’s in a really beautiful area and the campus is amazing. There’s a great feel to it and a lot of school pride that you will notice when you step on campus.

BC for me is the best of both worlds. In one regard, BC is a community of students. I rarely feel bored on weekends because there are many things to do on campus. If you do feel like venturing off into the city, you are perfectly able to since Boston is only about a 30 minute T ride outside of BC. The campus is absolutely gorgeous, although the only way to see it is by visiting. :)
