Beside Boston College’s beautiful campus, proximity to Boston, and D1 sports, what is it that differentiates BC from other liberal arts colleges? What sealed the deal for prospective students? And where are BC alumni now?
My son is very interested in Boston but not ready to make a commitment. He has less than a week to make his decision. Thanks for your help!

Aside from all mentioned. My daughter and I got a wonderful vibe from the campus! She felt at home, safe and just felt as though she belonged! This was what ultimately tipped the scale over in her decision. It’s about that gutt feeling when you’re at the campus. It’s so true when counselors tell you to visit, because it’s all about the visit.

I hope this helps!

BC is NOT a liberal arts college by any stretch – it is a medium-sized Uni, with Law, and Business professional schools. That being said, BC does not have the feel of a major research Uni, such as at Johns Hopkins, for example.
