Campus North Wins 2017 American Architecture Prize

Cool. It’s an impressive-looking building for sure. And surprisingly enough an intriguing addition to the overall appearance of the campus. With architecture ranging from Gothic to Prairie to What-The??? to Funky, the University of Chicago is a fun adventure just in terms of its buildings. Maybe they are meant to signal what you can expect once you are INSIDE the walls :slight_smile:

Yes, Campus North is very nice but IMHO I would prefer the new Lab School building. It is modernistic and yet still echoes the Gothics structure of the Main Quadrangle with glass curtain wall:
