On one hand I think the Georgetown student body would be more conservative, since it's a Catholic University, but it's also a university located in DC, and I know a lot of the DC schools are more liberal. So is it more conservative, more liberal, or a mix? And are Georgetown students politically active in general?

Okay. So I’ve found that Georgetown is unusually liberal for a Catholic school, but unusually conservative for being on the east coast. The student body is about 60% democrats and 40% republican. So it’s pretty even, but a little more liberal.

anyone else?

There are several threads on the forums regarding this. Search might be helpful. The general consensus is that it is about even politically.

from what i can tell, GU has a pretty even split between liberals and cons. There are a bit more liberals though, as most young people in general are liberal.
