Campus visit?

Of the ED applicants, who has gone to visit jhu?

My parents aren't taking me to visit, because 1. they don't want me to visit, then not get in 2. $$$! 3. no more time between now and ED deadline anyway

My mom has a unique type of intuition for which colleges are good for my sister and me (i think all moms probably do..) and i have the feeling that johns hopkins is the perrfeeect school for me! (If I get in, that is).

Wait, let me rephrase- who visited and is applying to jhu, whether by ED/RD?

i am like you
i am applying ED yet will not visit JHU before acceptance letters come in Dec. 15. Same reasons as you most likely.

However, i may visit after because i have a 2 week vacation (winter vacation).

Even though I really don't know the campus and atmosphere, like you, from what i've heard its a perfect school for me (if i get in, of course).

visiting was always a dilemma for me.

but every now and then, they have little events in your local area where there will be JHU representatives. perhaps you guys can ask your area representatives about this info and take advantage of these kinds of opportunities.

good luck folks!

yup, i've been to an info session and an off-campus interview. they only made me want to go to jhu even more!

jose1- you're the one who's interested in majoring in chem, too, right? hooray! i can't decide between applied math / chem / bio. HMM.

I visited, and found the campus absolutely gorgeous. On the other hand, it was kind of sterile, and the tour guides and speakers were really bored and unenthusiastic. I guess I just had bad luck there, and my opinion was tainted. It's still a great school, though.

I visited. The campus was gorgeous. Everyone was very friendly to me, even my fellow applicants. My tour guide was awesome. My admission rep was quite nice. And overall if I don't get in.... I will cry long and hard.... hehe....

bump!

anymore takers ?

I have visted and am applying ED.

It's a beautiful, beautiful campus. I'd encourage you to visit, but since you're already applying, I guess you're hooked anyhow. Visiting would just get you hooked more. At least get your parents to let you visit in the spring at least.
