<p>Does it make any difference for the admissions decisions one way or another if you have visited the campus? If so, why (other than that it shows interest, but then again, so does applying)? If not, why do they ask it on the application?</p>
<p>Everything makes a difference. This one happens to be minor, but they want to make sure you really want to apply to Dartmouth and know what it's all about- not just blindly applying to every school labelled "IVY."</p>
<p>It doesn't matter. Some people can't afford to visit and so they can't hold that against them.</p>
