Is northeastern a connected campus or are classses spread throughout the city like NYU?

It’s pretty much all together, although you are in the city. One thing many people like about NU is that you do get the campus feeling and then you walk down the street to Huntington and you’re in the middle of Boston. When I went to orientation I was told there is a downtown campus or something though, which I didn’t know about before.

Downtown campus? What kind of classes would I have there? How often would I have to travel there? How far is it?

The Downtown campus is a converted office building used for mostly evening classes in the College of Professional Studies and graduate MBA classes. As a full time undergraduate, you will never have a reason to go there.

The campus is all connected. I mean, you’ll have to cross some streets, but everything is pretty much in one central area. I haven’t heard anything about a downtown campus, but it took me around 15 minutes to walk from end to end.
