Having a real campus is really important to me. By real i mean it’s not a couple of buildings in the middle of a city, it has a quad and old brick buildings and you feel secluded from the rest of the city. Does rochester have this?
Short answer is yes, if you’re talking about the River Campus. The primary academic buildings and most residence halls, including greek houses, are nestled on a campus surrounded on 3 sides by the Genesee River and on the other side by a cemetery. It’s pretty and classic and isolated from the surrounding city, though it’s a short trip to access it.
But you don’t need CC to tell you that, just Google it.

HUGE medical center on one side of campus as well.
The River Campus (where most undergrads are) is what I would call the definition of a classic campus. It has that vintage campus feel with the big brick buildings and Ivy, beautiful landscaping, and architecture. If this is what you’re looking for, you will definitely “feel” the campus the first time you step on - I know I did.
Everything you need is right there. If you wanted to, you could spend all of your time on campus without ever having to leave (although I recommend exploring more of Rochester if you have the opportunity). Another thing of note is that many of the academic buildings are connected by tunnels, which is incredibly helpful during those winter months.
