"OMG, USC has a Jamba Juice on campus?!"

When I visited law schools a few years ago, Stanford did too. It was right across from the law school. That was a BIG plus for me, even though it didn't tip the balance in the end.

For a state school, Penn State's food is pretty darn good. One nice thing about Penn State is you can use your dining points everywhere on campus, not just in the all-you-can eat dining halls. My D has been trying to gain weight for at least 5 years; she just couldn't keep any weight on past 110. She's now gained 5 pounds since she arrived in August; she attributes it to The Creamery ice cream and working out. She's also addicted to The Creamery's coffee and Fresh Express salads and wraps (they also have excellent vegetarian fare at Fresh Express). Their prices are pretty good too; you can get dinner at Fresh Express (a wrap and salad) for under $4.00 in dining points, which is dinner for her.

lol, guess we should all go eat Bates, then. =p

How about a discussion on the availability of good food, on campus or not? Berkeley has lots of awesome restaurants that are really cheap.
