my sat is 2090. math=800, writing=740, CR=560.
Im an international student who will be applying to cornell ED with aid(requiring about 15k)
i am aware that my CR is below par compared to cornell's acceptance percentiles. But i have a 112 on my toefl and a 8 on my ielts. Will these scores be sufficient to cover up my poor CR or will it still be a black mark.
I have given my SAT subject test in Math 2 and Phy ..Hoping to get Math 2..780+ n Phy 750+ definitely.
my ECs are on the higher scale..i have 2 international Olympiad achievements and other national achievements as well.

so will i still suffer because of my low CR?

See cornell looks at only your CR and Math scores which in your case come out to be 1360/1600 which is certainly on the lower side. It is generally better to have atleast a 1500 because
a) you are an international.
b) you require aid.
c) you seem to be applying to cornell engineering which is far more competitive that other cornell schools.
But you can consider applying if your EC’s are pretty good. That Toefl score is really good, it will help but not much.

Achiever, I’ll serve ya matriculation/final exams from any non-english speaking country and we’ll see how well you’re gonna do on this. Saigokul, do not worry too much. 560 and 800 are really fine. Remember that you’re more than scores.
