If I score a 3 on an AP test, but get a 5 on the other one I take, will it hurt me to have that 3 there, or will it just not count for me?

My question is, can a score of 3 hurt my chances of admission to a school?

This hasn't been discussed countless times.

No.

As choking_victim said, no. You know how they tell you over and over again that if you don't want to send your scores to a particular college, you don't have to? They aren't lying.

Yeah but by dint of my not sending my scores, the colleges can infer that I got a low scores.

der.

whatever i got the answer. thank you, both of you are wonderful people.

the colleges won't assume you got a low score because you didn't send it to them....

..why not? Wouldn't it be so that if I got high enough scores to earn credits that I would send them my scores? I would think so. Thus, the only reason for me not to send my scores would be that I did poorly.

no?

or you didn't take the exam for some reason, or you were ill while taking it and didn't/couldn't perform like normal...

why bother asking a question if you already "know" your answer?

Most colleges do assume you got a low score if you take an AP CLASS and don't report your score, and don't report a reason for not having a score such as illness or something of the sort. However, if you took the class and did fine, you'll do fine on the test. If you self-studied, then you don't have to report the score and colleges won't know the difference.

Yes for me. I shall not pass (as in Tolkien) the APUSH if <5 on AP test :o

hah, for me it will be statistics :(

i know i know i am bad at math
