Okay, so I took APUSH and am basically certain I got a 1...I didn't think this would matter because I'm not sending the scores to any colleges. They don't put AP scores on your regular SAT score report, do they?

Colleges will only see this horrible grade AFTER I'm admitted, right? (Because I plan to take a lot next year), so it can't hurt my app. if they don't see the score, right?

So basically what I'm asking is are AP scores put on your SAT/II score report?? If so, I should cancel.

I don't need to cancel my scores though if its an entirely separate report.

So why are people worrying about canceling their scores? It can't hurt them in the admission process, can it? Do I HAVE to put my scores on Apps? I mean, what are they going to do...Revoke my admission when they found out I'm a history idiot?

The people who are worrying are the ones who took...like 3 exams, and know they did terribly on one. So...they want to send two of their scores to add to their application, but are worried that the low score will hurt them.

As long as you dont lie about your exam grade on an application, you will be fine. If you dont send the scores, then it may look like you didn't take the exam at all, but it wont matter.

By the way, low AP scores are a very minute part of the application process. If you read around some other threads, people always say that high AP scores help, but low ones don't matter.

"The people who are worrying are the ones who took...like 3 exams, and know they did terribly on one. So...they want to send two of their scores to add to their application, but are worried that the low score will hurt them."

But you don't send your official score report until after you are admitted to the college... on applications you just self report your AP scores, so you can just leave your one bad score off and report the two good ones.

If you're a rising senior, there's no point in canceling. It will be included on the report with the scores for exams you take next year, but by the time colleges see that you'll have already been accepted.

I don't know if your transcripts are the same. But I know on our official high school transcript it has the AP score. Although, ours is right under our scores on state tests which I'm sure colleges don't care about, heh.
