So I left out a 2, 3 and a 1 from my commonapp. Will I get in trouble if I send in an official score report and the colleges see those scores?

Also, do I have to send an official score report if I'm not planning to use the credit?

No you won’t get in trouble. All scores on the Commonapp are self reported so you’re free to leave out whatever you want. If schools require certain scores they’ll ask for an official report, and as far as I know, no college requires AP scores for admission so you’re fine.

I don’t think you would get in trouble (unless you lied) but I do think it could affect admission because your grades in AP classes and your performance on the test ought to be comparable and they might reconsider your grades in light of the lower AP scores.

So if they don’t specifically ask for the AP transcript (and most schools don’t) then don’t send it and volunteer that information.

You do not even have to send in the AP scores as part of the admissions process. You will only have to send the scores if you want to use the scores for placement or credit at the school where you actually matriculate.
