GUYS THIS IS IMPORTANT AND I NEED HELP.
can an ACT score without WRITING be submitted to top tier colleges such as harvard? So far i've taken two acts.. one with 33 composite and 9 on essay. another with 35 composite and no essay. today i heard you can't even submit an act score without writing in one sitting and thus my 35 is complete useless junk. now i'm about to panic :P does anybody know an answer to this?
p.s i'm taking one more act this september including the writing test. my initial plan was to provide harvard with my 35act score one and the one i'm going to take soon, in which i hope i get a good writing score. so if my 35 score can't be used.. i'm kinda in a conundrum since the last time i took it was like forever ever ago and now i'm not even sure i could get a 35... AHHH

Most selective colleges, including Harvard, Yale and Princeton require the ACT with writing. As you did not take the writing section when you scored a 35, that score is unusable. You must submit the 33 with a score of 9 in writing to Harvard, or take the test again. The 35 does not count. (sorry.)
