<p>Weighted is with Honors credits counting for extra points
E.g. an A with weighted in an Honors/AP/IB class would be 5 points not 4
Unweighted is without the weights. Everything equal</p>

<p>Not necessarily; when going by unweighted rank, taking anything but the easiest classes puts you at a disadvantage.</p>
<p>we don’t have such thing in my country.we take ordinary classes and the school gives rank and average.so in my college application ,what should I mark on weighted or unweighted ?</p>
