<p>One class rank might be weighted and the other unweighted. Different schools look at different ranks, but your school will probably send the weighted one (which would be the lower of the two, most likely).</p>

<p>hmmm it depends on which one your school would send in.
Unweighted rank is usually inefficient though because it makes your rank higher than it should be.
For example, my school uses the weighted rank.
My weighted rank is 4/567 with no one else tied for that rank.
My unweighted rank would be 1/567 with about 6 people tied for it.</p>
<p>So the weighted one is more accurate.</p>
