What are my chances to get in to Brown ?I know Brown value the essays the most. iam planning to write about my experience as the first (I started this club)president of International student support club and how it affected my club memebers over time and mr as well. Since Brown looks for good essays, and well arounded student more than academic ones, I thought I am good fit for this school.

I am thinking about applying for early action. Is this good idea?
Can you guys give me some tips on applying early action?
waht other colleges would you recommand other than brown?

Since I got not very good SAT score I’m so worried about colleges…
Please help me out…

The international application pool is really really competitive. I would work on these things:

SAT score

take your TOEFL (since you live in the US, it should be good?)

I am also from Oregon and would suggest that you apply to some in-state schools, or schools nearby. Lewis and Clark in Portland is a great liberal artsy school. Check out UW, Whitman, Gonzaga… those schools are closer, cheaper, and have higher acceptance rates. Brown is definitely a reach for you.

Applying early would help, but know that Brown only has Early Decision (not action), so acceptance is binding.

Hope this helps! :)
