Can anybody tell me

what a "likely" letter reads like?
By likely, I mean a letter sent to you by colleges saying that you'll likely be accepted if you apply.
I would like to know the contents of the letter and any additional items that arrived along with it. Thanks

well usually a likely letter is given to you after you apply and not before if that's how I'm understanding your wording, and it's used to alert the applicant that they have a good chance of being accepted come April 1st [or when ever letters are received], and the main purpose is to keep the applicant interested in said college so they don't get drawn to another college. I've got two from Cornell and Dartmouth if you really want to hear what they sound like.
