I am a junior in high school and I am starting to look at colleges. I tend to really like big state schools but the only thing is they are expensive for oos students. Can anyone tell me if the University of Alabama or Indiana University-Bloomington give good fa to oos students? I really like both of these schools and they have good accounting programs. Also one more question I had was traveling. I live in NJ so how exactly does traveling long distance work and do a lot of students do it? Do I have to come home for every holiday like thanksgiving? Thanks in advance, any info helps cause my parents do not know much.

Most OOS publics will not give give generous need-based aid. A couple of exceptions are UNC and UVa.
Alabama and Indiana both offer merit scholarships. Alabama is very generous in this aspect and most of the scholarships are based on published criteria (GPA and SAT/ACT). What are your tests scores and GPA?
didn’t have the best sophomore year finished with a weighted 3.41. I am in 3 AP/Honors courses this year and studying my butt off to get good grades
