Can anyone answer any of these questions please

I am a junior in high school and I am starting to look at colleges. I tend to really like big state schools but the only thing is they are expensive for oos students. Can anyone tell me if the University of Alabama or Indiana University-Bloomington give good fa to oos students? I really like both of these schools and they have good accounting programs. Also one more question I had was traveling. I live in NJ so how exactly does traveling long distance work and do a lot of students do it? Do I have to come home for every holiday like thanksgiving? Thanks in advance, any info helps cause my parents do not know much.

The cool thing about Bama is that they have some big merit scholarships for OOS students: http://scholarships.ua.edu/types/out-of-state.html These are based on your stats instead of need.

University of Alabama is very good for OOS with merit aid. Odd screen name for someone interested in Alabama and IU.

Do well on your PSAT this month.

If you mean OOS merit scholarships for strong stats, then yes, Alabama gives very good scholarships to OOS students. IU has lessened their merit over the last few years.

If you’re talking about “need based aid,” then neither school gives much to OOS students.
